Individual Counseling

At Unified Inspirational Counseling, LLC, we specialize in supporting teens who are facing challenging behaviors and attitudes. Our approach is centered around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps us understand how teens perceive the world. We aim to equip them with the tools needed to respond effectively. CBT is an effective method for helping teens recognize the impact of their negative actions on themselves and those around them. Through this approach, teens develop healthy communication skills, learn to maintain a structured schedule, take responsibility for themselves and others, and foster healthy relationships.

Why Try Curriculum provides simple, hands-on strategies and resources to help motivate the unmotivated teen, support teens with trauma, improve engagement, and increase academic success. The idea is straightforward: teach social and emotional education to teens in a way they can understand and remember.  Why Try is a great motivating tool that can help your teen succeed at home and at school with very specific goals.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach widely used in adolescent facilities across America. This model has proven effective and beneficial not only for teens but also for parents, who can apply various methods and strategies to engage their teens positively. Through CBT, teens learn to hold themselves accountable and responsible without experiencing shame or embarrassment. It also helps boost their self-confidence, enabling them to respond positively to the world around them.

Interactive Activities

At Unified Inspirational Counseling, LLC, we engage teens in enjoyable activities that encourage positive self-expression among peers who also strive to live responsibly. Today’s teens are often glued to their phones and other electronic devices, contributing to issues like laziness, lack of drive, and loss of focus. Our activities challenge teens to step away from their screens and rediscover what it means to be a teenager without the constraints of social media.

RAISING TEENS

Change is challenging, especially for teenagers. The teenage years are a time of rapid development, and often, physical maturity outpaces the development of brain areas that regulate mood and impulse control. This can lead to outbursts, irritability, and poor decisions. While occasional mood swings are normal if your teen is generally getting healthy food, sleep, and social interaction, having open conversations about their feelings can make a significant difference.
